We keep getting evidence for dark energy, this component of the Universe which is so dominant, and yet we still have only a tiny glimmer of what it could be."

The reason the void exists is not known. "That's going to be a challenge for people that work on the development of structure in the Universe. It's a very hot topic in the cosmology right now," said Professor Rudnick

We're pretty much left with some new subatomic particles," notes team member Dennis Zaritsky of the University of Arizona. "It's a little embarrassing to claim we know anything about the universe when we don't know what 90 percent of the matter out there is."

Yes dark matter exists in theory, those experiments show how little we do know,i see no evidence of a spiritual God though.I like the anti-matter research, everything has an opposite ,now that is interesting!!!,everyone has an opposite in a parallel universe and i would like to meet the anti-matter Crimmson, yes we would get on just fine. What????

The problem they are talking about is that we can't figure out where matter is hiding. The galaxies should fly apart at the speeds they are moving, so we know there is gravity coming from some place that we haven't been able to find. They have figured out how to detect some dark matter, but it is still well short of enough.

This has actually led to a few papers that question some of the central parts of Newton's gravity equations. But the fact that we don't have the answer yet is not evidence of magic anymore than sickness was evidence of demon possession before we knew about germs.

Nothing exist that God didn't create, therefore God created dark matter, just because humans can't see the light doesn't mean mean dark matter is void of light.

You just don't get it.
We are not scoffing at God.
We are laughing our heads off at you, the people who think that they know the truth and that are trying to guide the rest of us poor, deluded ignorant folks.
The problem is you can't even see how patronizing and rude your attitude is.

I think you're reading too much into what dark matter/energy is.
