wants to send all these folks home ...one way or the other?

Do you think the Illegals will riot? Do you think there will be mass uprising by groups like the ACLU, La RAZA, Mecha etc?

Or do you think the situation will just fade away, the illegals will go home and life will be sweet again?

eagle: We really DO NOT have a Pres. who wants to remove illegals. His actions, his words/promises to the opposing side, his position with the two border agens in jail and on. He is FOR amnesty.
If you vote for ANY Democrat running now, you will vote for a form of amesty.
The problem will escalate and become worse under Democratic Pres. leadership.

all heck would break out and it is what needs to happen...there is a serious problem..

i think that the American people need to start pushing the politicians to answer questions on immigration and illegal aliens... they are dancing around the subject now... i encourage everyone that thinks laws should be respected and American is a land that has a "government of the people, by the people, for the people" and not of some special interest groups or radical racial protesters demanding rights in a place they have no place to preach, do something about it, write to the editor of your newspaper, call your senators, spread the information you have to other people and educate them on this situation.. there is no way that this can be avoided in the next election because we do have a problem that could escalate drastically in the next few years if something is not done about it now... the people of the United States are just that.. don't let someone that doesn't have a right to be here try to take your rights away...

I would hope that the immigrants would NOT riot. If they are trying to get Americans to see things their way then starting a riot is a sure-fire way to to make even more people work against them. I don't have any problems AT ALL with immigrants who came to the U.S. looking for a better life, in fact I even learned to speak Spanish fluently from a former immigrant neighbor of mine :)

But, if you want to live in a country you have to respect that country's laws. Most of the illegals have already disrespected our laws just from the fact that they jumped over the fence to get here in the first place. What's making people angry is that the "Pros" act as if that immigration law doesn't even exist (BTW if there was no law against illegal immigration then why do we have a Border Patrol in the first place?)

Look, when I lived in Mexico I was told it was my responsibility to respect Mexican laws (this is correct and I agree with this). Why do people feel the immigrants living/working in the U.S. don't have to respect American laws?

I really don't. I think most of these organizations are as spineless as the people on Y/A who give anon thumbs down and don't have the stones to voice their reasoning. I think once we start really fining the business' that hire the illegal trash that they will flee this nation for greener pastures.

However, groups like la raza and mecha may spew enough rhetoric that we will see small pockets of resistance but honestly quick, decisive, and very violent action should end the threat once and for all.

Many would not be happy, riots are possible. The ACLU would have a lot of fodder to launch cases for this or that way that someone was apprehended and deported.

Doubtful it would fade away quickly, any process to deport all illegals would cost trillions and take at least 10 years, that's assuming the border gets locked down (more billions for that) and they are prevented from returning. I don't think we can afford that, that's why politicians don't even try to propose a platform of enforcing deportation. It would create such a headache of civil unrest that it's not worth it.

GW is a waste of space, his sister in law was an ILLEGAL for a time, that is why he wont grow a spine and do what he should. By not doing anything he is GUILTY OF ADING AND ABETING CRIMINALS and he should face the punishment!

It will not be easy, & it will not be quick but it is something that HAS to happen. There are too many illegals bleeding this country dry. Breaking laws, breaking rules. Yes, if they come over the border illegally, they are breaking the law just being here.
ANYONE can petition to come in legally. That is something people who think they should all just break the laws, forget. My grandparents did it, legally. They learned the language & were PROUD to be American Citizens. The illegals just want their own country in the US. They are trashing this country to make it like their own...you know, the one they hated, & left??

the illegals who are ignorant and stupid will probably riot or act out in some way.

SOME ILLEGALS are not that bad - and perhaps they have just not gotten around to take the steps to be here legally : even if it's just the kind that come over for 1 season and whatnot. THOSE KIND will probably wise up and take the steps (it's not that hard !) to be able to continue to be here. Good for them!

As for the stupid ones: I hope they're all shot.
