NO....NO WAY......Unless you purposely want to hurt yourself or worse. As a Dealer and a Gunsmith, I can tell you there are "specialty" firearms that are DESIGNED to shoot both 410 gauge shotgun shells, and 45 Colt cartridges but there are only a few of those that exist. Under NO circumstances should you attempt/try to shoot any 45 Colt cartridge out of any conventional 410 gauge shotgun, unless specifically designed to do so......... PERIOD

A 410 slug is about 40 caliber and about 100 grains. Try pushing a 45 caliber harder bullet of over twice that weight through the barrel, and it's likely to wind up looking like a banana peel.

A firearm has to be specifically designed and manufactured to fire both 45 colt and .410 shotshells. If you were able to chamber a 45 colt round in a shotgun rated to only fire .410 shotshells (which may not be physically possible for safety reasons), the gun would very likely explode. This is because the 45 colt has higher chamber pressures than .410 shotshells.

You can. Only once.
.410 shells can be fired in a .45 - 70 or .45-90, but why wear out a rifled barrel when a shotgun is so inexpensive?
.45 is a caliber. So is .410.

Please do not try this. Logically, even if a .45ACP bullet would chamber in a shotgun receiver, the bullet is .04" larger in diameter in the gun's barrel. If the round were held tightly and actually fired, the bullet would jam in the barrel and could cause the gun to explode. Unlikely, but not worth risking your appendages over.
That said, Taurus makes a revolver called the Judge that can shoot both .45ACP and .410 shotgun rounds.

There are a few pistol/revolvers that chamber .45Colt and .410 shotshells. I think I'd talk to gunsmith first before I tried it.
