What charity will send them a card advising of donation? Looking for a Feed the Hungry type charity.

Heifer Interantional is fantastic and gives people a hand up instead of a hand out. I did this for my Mom last Xmas.

For Mother's Day, I made a donation to CARE international and they sent my mother an e-card. I would bet they would do the same regarding a gift for the holidays.

I don't know where you live, but my organization gave to homeless American Vets on skid row, Los Angeles. I hear that there are many homeless vets who have come back from the Iraq war. That's pretty sad, huh? Also, I do know women shelters are a good place because they protect children and women. Battered women. I just can't remember the organization we gave to. They have undisclosed houses so their husbands don't find them. There's always a need for undies, socks, toothbrushes, clothes, and etc. for both women and children

Almost any charity will send them a card. You can contact your local United Way agency for reputable agencies.
