Men lie about everything, job, finances, kids, housing. Whatever they can think of. I know I am not the only one that has dealt with this. Help me understand this.

Can't say I agree with you 100% as there are guys who are honest. The ones that tell the odd tale do so to impress and more often than not are found out. So the next time you get a tall story related to you, take it with a pinch of salt.

well if they don't can they really keep up with the standards of the woman today. the problem is that men isn't like the one in the movies. They are people and have flaws so thay lie to cover it up. maybe he lied so you would like him

not all guys lie about everything.... but think about this... how many times have you lied in a relationship, as well? or even "just fabricated" or told a "little white lie" no ones as honest as you may think they are, so just dont open yourself up to people as quick.

Most men, not all, are to much of a coward to be truthful. When men are truthful it really turns me on. If I find out they lied it's a turn off. Don't need cowards in my life and your neither.

People lie because they say what they think others expect or want to hear them say to look good to be accepted. For eg. if people weren't so self concious about age, then we wouldn't hedge on telling our real ages.

They want everything there way so they will tell a lie to cover their back.

I don't know why they lie. It always catches up with them. Maybe it's the thrill of seeing whether or not they can get away with it. or maybe they are trying to see if we are dumb enough to believe them. Just know that they lie....always have.....always will
