Right click on the internet toolbar (not Yahoo toobar). Put a check next to 'Standard Buttons' to open it. Then right click on the same section that has the little icons and choose 'customize'. Then choose to delete or add the icons you want. E

IE7 will ask if you would like to tranfer your favorites when you install it. The Favorites in IE7 are 2 stars in the upper left hand corner of the interface . One has a plus + sign for add to favorites. If you dont want to keep your favorites you can decline when installing it.

I depends on the other internet program you have installed. I would say that your favorite list would not be deleted.

No, your favorites are stored in a folder that lives within the Windows folder. IE7 will simply look to this folder for "Favorites". It is always a good idea to keep a copy of your favorites folder on a thumb drive or your backup drive.

If you are upgrading some flavor of IE, it will keep your settings. If you aren't, just back up your favorites.
