DO PERSONAL TRAINERS GET PAID WELL if they are hired by a gym, etc?

Like a gym needs a Personal Trainer...do they still get paid well even though they aren't working independantly? About how much do they get paid? Thanks and God bless!

how much depends on the gym (Gold's, 24 Hr Fitness, etc.) and metropolitan area that you live or will be working in. most do not get paid that well, you need to work as an independent contractor to make the big $.

Yep, I agree with the above answer. Most gyms will take a commission from your earnings. If you work independently it cuts out the middle man.
