yes, make sure you clean out the cage, use dish soap for a good clean, and clean everything that has been used
if your old hamster died from sickness, its best to get a new cage so that your new hamster doesn't cach anything your old hamster had, if you don't want to buy a new cage though, sterilize it with water that has about 5-10%bleach in it, make SURE that is rinsed throughly so the new hamster doesn't get sick from the bleach, also make sure it is complely dry before you put the bedding in the cage
also, you should replace certain things in the cage, like the water bottle, it can be cleaned out, and i think that it is better to get a new one for the hammy, also if your old hamster has chewed down something terribly like the food dish, then it should be replaced
otherwise you don't need to buy a new cage, it is too costly to keep buying a new cage everytime someone gets a new hamster
good luck with your new hammy! email me if you have questions

yes as long as you clean it out properly with detergent to get rid of the organic materials then use a good disinfectant such as virkon. if your last hamster died of an infectious disease a would buy a new cage just in case. some disinfectants dont kill some micro-organisms

yes as long as you have completely disinfected it. it would be an idea to get a new water bottle but you can keep the cage. my hamster died on friday and i am gettin a new one next week and i am keepin the same cage just changing the bottle.

It depends. if the previous hamster died from illness, then no, get a new cage, new everything! if the previous hamster died of old age then yes you can, just make sure you thoroughly clean and disinfect the cage and everything in the cage, plus all 'toys' and anything else you used for the previous hamster.
You MUST get new water bottle and new food bowl though.

Just wash it first. But if the hamster died of an infectious disease, disinfect it with a tablespoon of bleach in a gallon of water. Don't get this on your clothes, though.

Yes of course you can, there will be no problems unless the cage has gone rusty or is damaged. Just clean it out really well with a pet-safe cleaner :)
