My dad's boss gave my dad four tickets to the Laker game on Sunday. My dad took both of my brothers and I and we had a blast! I know my dad will thank his boss in his own way, but I wanted to mail a thank you card from me personally.

A nice simple note on the card would be:

Dear Mr/Mrs ____, <- Last name here

Our family had a wonderful time at the game. Thank you very much.

Sincerely
Your name

:)

It's a nice suggestion, but he tickets were not given directly to you. Don't step on your Dad's toes. Let him thank his boss and express what a great time you and your brothers had. I would give a different opinion if it was a friend, but it is his boss so it would not be appropriate in my opinion. If you feel strongly about it, make sure your Dad is aware and let him personally deliver the thank you note. Simply state in the note you and your brothers appreciate his generosity and you had a blast at the game and say thank you.

You can write something like this (you fill in the blanks):
Thanks so much for giving me the chance to go to the fantastic Lakers game Sunday. It was so exciting to see ____ make the winning basket (if this was a close game) or write something about the game that was exciting. The roar of the crowd and being there in person was a blast for all of us. You really made my day and I will always remember this special game. Thanks again!

I think that is really a great idea!! Simply write how much you appreciate his thinking of you all and how much fun the game was, maybe if something happened (like the Lakers won) you can mention it, wind it up by thanking him again and just let him know how much fun you had.

That's a nice thought. You can say.

Dear so and so,

Thank you so much for the Lakers tickets. My family went together and we had such a great time!

Your Name

Simple and to the point is just fine.

Dear Bossman (Mr./Mrs.________),

I wanted to personally thank you for the Laker's tickets that you gave to my father, Bob Smith. My dad took my brothers and I to the game on Saturday. We had a blast! (Insert some specifics about the game)

Thank you again for your generosity. I hope that you enjoy the holiday season!

Warm regards,
