If you outlaw guns only outlaws will have guns. The result will be exactly opposite the intended result.
"An armed society is a polite society."
Would anyone break in to your house if they KNEW you had a gun? How about if they KNEW you did not? Which would be better for you?

Nope, the reason being that criminals would ignore the laws, and the law abiding folks would find themselves getting shot full of holes while they waved their stupid sticks around. Like bringing a knife to a gunfight. There is no law for the lawless, which is why the lawful ought to carry some serious firepower.

Have you ever seen someone bludgeoned to death? It isn't pretty.
As long as humans inhabit this rock, they are going to devise ways of killing one another; there's no stopping it, so please stop suggesting we 'outlaw' guns. It's a waste of time.
