Hiking stores sell a device, the name of which I have forgotten, that is like a flexable plastic funnel that is designed to fit a woman's anatomy and is held in place by hand. The spout can be dirrected into a conatiner as the woman stands to urinate in the same manner as a man does. Not being a woman and having never seen one in use, I am left with certain questions such as whether the woman can insert the funnel in her clothing without dropping her pants and let the spout stick out of her fly? Secondly, how does she take care of the paperwork afterward? There is the possibility of using a paint can for a porta potty. You can buy new unused paint cans in a hardware store. Last, but not least, you can buy a folding toilet seat that resembles a folding stool. You attach a plastic bag beneath it and take the bag out of the woods as you leave.
All of these wonderful ideas assume that you are sitting in an enclosed box blind in a tree. If you are sitting in a climber stand or a ladder stand, you're left with either holding it or climbing down and peeing on the ground. There was a study done that showed that deer are not actually bothered by the smell of urine. So just pee on the ground and kick a little dirt over it and forget it. Of course, climbing up and down from your stand could cause a deer that is near to leave the area for the rest of the day. One secret is not to drink coffee before going to the stand. Yeah, I know. That ain't gonna happen. So get your funnel device and a screw top bottle and work on a way to use it while in your tree stand.
Just be careful when using it in a tree stand. You sure don't want to fall out of the treestand while using it and then have to be carried out of the woods with your pants at half mast and a funnel stuck in your Hoo-Ha.
If you enjoy spending time in the outdoors, you might also be interested in reading a book entitled "How To S**t In The Woods". Yes, there really is such a book and it deals with a serious subject in a very humorous manner. It is most likely to be found in a hiking and camping store or can be ordered on Amazon.
Good luck and I hope you will let us know what you decide on and how it works for you.

VERY CAREFULLY! Seriously I use a product called "Spare Bladder" which is a chemical urinal that turns the urine into a gel which is scent free and biodegradable. Here is the site you can get information and order from.

I have not ordered from them directly as I have always just ordered them from Cabelas. They are so easy to use and they have a loop to hang on a nail or branch out of the way. This works great and as I mentioned is scent free and inexpensive. You just throw in the trash when you are done hunting. One usually lasts a day or two for me.
Good luck hunting and please be careful dancing around in your stand urinating. Best to climb down or at least make sure you are strapped in!

The scent is a grerat attractant, really it is. I have done several experiments, deer will follow thew urine scent trail from humans. This might sound gross but I know people who use "used" tampons as attracters in deer and bear hunting... I dont do that tho, peeing out my tree has NEVER scared deer away, lots of times they have come in soon after, once while I still was going..

Other guys have hit it: your urine will actually help to bring in bucks.
Bucks will scrape their antlers on a tree and dig in the ground below it, then urinate in it to mark their territory. If another buck comes around, he'll go to that spot and mark over it. So if you urinate on his scrape, it's only going to piss him off and keep him coming back to mark his territory.
But this doesn't answer your question... because if you gotta go, you gotta go... and up in a tree stand isn't the most convenient place.
Look into a product called the Lady J... it's a personal urinal for women. Hikers carry these.

Never worried about it after a friend of mine told me that after urinating from his stand during bear season he had two bucks and a doe come at different times to check the sent. I also know from experience that urinating in a scrape will drive bucks nuts. I do that when ever the opportunity comes along. The bucks will comeback even to check the scrape more often, and a girls urine in a scrape works even better to attract bucks.

Contrary to popular belief, human urine is not a detrimental smell for deer. Lab studies have shown that deer do not react negatively to the smell of human urine and, in fact, can be curious about it. Many successful hunters actually relieve themselves in buck scrapes and the deer will actually investigate it rather than avoid it. I urinate at the base of my stand all of the time and it has not decreased my luck one bit. I see as many deer when I do as when I don't.
Just let it go. No worries.

Well my first thought is no matter what method you use, keep an eye on the wind, after all you know what happens when you spit into it! This is the single biggest reason my wife and daughters hate to go camping/hunting, the lack of facilities for them.
