Okay so i was thinking about getting contact lenses but then i though oh my god... what if you were wearing contact lenses on a night out (because naturally you want to look your very best) and then you got absolutely blazing drunk and then a few hours later you fell asleep with your contacts in... what would happen, would your eyes be okay?

I've heard of hydro peroxide contacts...someone told me they were okay to sleep in??

the alcohol absorbs onto the contact lens causing them to blur

only kidding their are ones you can sleep with them in, and their are daily ones, where you can after a night out, just pop them out and then throw them away , as simple as that

Nothing happens other than you might pass out and the contacts get stuck up in your eyes. After a few minutes of rubbing, they should come back to your iris. You can try disposable lenses as well. There are lenses you can sleep in, but I'll be honest...any lense can get caught up in your eye, whether you're drunk or not. Always best to take them out and if you're planning on getting that drunk...wear glasses.

I have slept in both gas permeable and soft lenses before now when i've been so tired/drunk i can't take them out or simply don't have the solution to put them in. Your eyes don't like it but it won't be the end of your eyes or anything like that, just try not to do it so often. there are some lenses that you keep in for 24 hours but i haven't tried them, you should speak to your optician tho, not all prescriptions can be done like that tho, i know mine can't.

I wear focus day and night lenses which you can wear continuously for 4 weeks, then take them out for a day or 2 and put a new pair in. They are so comfy you forget you're wearing them and you don't get the gritty feeling you get with daily ones!

You will be fine just wait a couple hours after waking up to take them out if they feel uncomfortable. Use eyedrops they get kind of dry after overnight wear.

You will probably wake up with them at the backs of your eyeballs! of they will be lost if youhave fell asleep wearing them!
I had a friend who was terrible at looking after hers and she ended up with dailies, cheaper in the long run!

you will be ok. if you forget to take them out no biggie. they will get dry but its no big deal.

they do not go into the back of your eyes. ive been wearing contacts for 15 years and have slept in the numerous times. they hurt in the morning and i have to wear my glasses the next day to give my eyes a break but thats it.

You can get the kind that you can sleep in. And even if you don't...one night isn't going to hurt you at all.
