It is very easy to nick or tear the top or botton O rings. I use Silicone grease a thin coating to make the injector slide easily into the hole. TRY AGAIN with two new O rings. I just hope this time you decide to replace all of the injectors. Ethanol in the fuel is killing off the old car injectors. Or do you like taking the plenium and maifold apart and off each time? Make sure your connectors are not Green with corrosion.

The injector you just replaced is more than likely a different style than the one you put on, but don't panic, it's supposed to be Nissan updated all of them, but what you should do is look at the two "O" rings on the injector there should be one small one at the bottom and another larger one around the middle. From what you are describing here it sounds to be likely that you may have forgot to install the larger "O" ring or you may have improperly installed it (i know i did the first time). If you find that you have both "O" rings in the correct places and there aren't any visible cracks then it's possible that you have a poorly manufactured injector.
