I got this as an answer, a good one I thought, and it made me stop a second. As a non believer I feel this is a very good statement to ponder. Anyone?

I agree, I am an atheist, but it's quite a catchy one liner. And if it's true, then it will be good enough for me.

I don't believe that a God or Gods created everything, including science. But a lot of people do, like Christians. So they'd say that that statement is completely true.

Well that assumes that god created science to lead back to him.

Science is not really an entity but it is an objective study of the evidence to determine "how things are". It would be more accurate to say that "If God create this universe, studying it objectively would lead back to God -- unless he intended otherwise"

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but here's mine. The bible says god exists. The bible is right because it's god's word. We know it's god's word because the bible says so.

That logic doesn't give me any reason to believe in god.

On the other hand, if we assume that science is an invention of man, it makes sense without having to factor in a god that may or may not exist.

I have to agree. I'm agnostic, don't try to impose beliefs to science. Science turns questions into fact. If it is possible to prove that God exists, someday, science will.

Right now, leave it alone.

Some think so. I am more inclined to say that the presuppositions you start with will determine what you find.
