Educational toys are preferable to enhance the literacy of the child. A lot of toys a child could learn and cherish while playing it.

My 15 yr old would croak if i gave him clothes.So,not sure where you say they want clothes.My fifteen yr old asked for rubiks cube revolution..and gift cards to things.Video games,movies,etc
I agree learning things are wonderful
but for girls HANNAH MONTANA anything is a plus!!they all love her.Ours wanted sleeping bag and tent set.walmart had those in princess set and flashlight..for 15 bucks!.(shes almost 4)

get something that's not just a fad toy. legos, other building kits, marble track, toy trains (not recalled!), board games, art supplies, flashlights, sleds (depending where you live), small rakes or shovels (ditto), shape sorters or puzzles, cars and trucks, pretend foods, dolls or stuffed animals....

make sure u check to make sure they aren't on the recall list for lead poisoning.
my son loves cars, any of the hot wheels racing things (they go for about $20. sometimes u can buy the cars at a deal for buy one get one free.
lego blocks, coloring kits, arts and crafts kits, remote control cars (be sure to include the batteries), dvds (make sure its rated g)

Transformer toys are REALLY big for boys this year, and Bratz toys for girls..You can get the figures for $10-$20 each

WELL YOU CAN ALWAYS BUY CAR TOYS, BARBIES FOR GIRLS. YOU DONT HAVE TO BASED ALL YOUR MONEY ON TOYS BECAUSE IF YOUR BUYING THINGS FOR ALL AGES AM PRETTY SURE A 15 YEAR OLD WOULD PREFER CLOTHES. YOU SHOULD STOP BUY TOYS "R" US
