i have a mate at work who is really in to god and the church, he used to be a bit of a boy around town! but is now just church church church. he told me that he was in his bed 1 night and felt like he was pinned down and could not move and then he was assaulted by something and it happened a few times to him! he knew no 1 was in his room but could not figure out what was happening. he later spoke to a priest who gave him a book on evil spirits and it was in this book, he has shown me the book and i have read it for myself, but i still find it hard to believe it!

Yes it does happen...more often then people know...the people it happens to are either to frightened or to embaressed to tell...
And I understand why he is all about God now , because this was my story also..until I gave my life to God ...and when I did trust in God , I've never even had so much as a bad dream. since......Now I can control alot of things in my life but I know of no way to control your dreams...If I could have I wouldn't have suffered in silence for so many years..I have a feeling that there are alot more people out there who have had this happen but won't speak about it mainly out of fear I know I was gripped by fear I told no one for and when I did tell it has only been trusted people.....I know I couldn't bear that movie the entity nor could I sit thru the one out this summer ' the haunting' another true story.....It is so terrifying...and unless it's happened to you ..you cannot comprehend it...all I know is that now my sleep is sweetly guarded and that I am safe and protected...Tell your friend he is not insane and he is not alone..It has taken me years to share...and I don't often because just like so many other subjects people don't understand they scoff and mock...as seen above... I too used to be a bit of a 'bad girl'.....hmm- not any more....

Your friends sudden conversion and obsession with his new religion may be indications that he suffers from some sort of mental illness. His belief that he was sexually assaulted by an invisible entity is pretty much a classical hallucination associated with, and perhaps in part caused by, his sudden shift in ideas relating to sexuality. He probably is bipolar and schizophrenic. He should go see a psychiatrist. They have some pretty good drugs for that now.
Just out of curiosity, your friend doesn't live on Pemba island in the Zanzibar archipelago, does he? There have been outbreaks of mass hysteria there over men reporting they have been sexually assaulted by an evil spirit named Popobawa.

There was a book written about a woman who was sexually assaulted by unseen spirits. It was called "The Entity." It was made into a movie in the late 70s or early 80's. I've never seen it.
I personally have a hard time believing in such a thing...but some claim that it's absolute fact.
I'm undecided on the issue.

it's sleep paralysis, my mrs used to get it several times a night just before she fell asleep. It became so frequent that she went to the doctors. He said it was stress related and prescribed a 2 week course of anti depressants, which did the trick. It only happens a few times a year now. If you ask about you will find that most people have experienced this at least once in their life. There really is nothing unussual about it at all.

Spirits are just people whom have died but not passed on to the realm of spirits. They stay due to several reasons, a)they don't know they're dead, b)they have unfinished business, c) they are trapped in a vortex and can't get out even if they wanted to, and d) choose to stay for one reason or another.
If people are allowed to love, hate, be angry, sad or even lust then why would it be so absurd to think that those emotions wouldn't stay with the spirit into the afterlife? What happened to your friend is unbelievable to many because interactions with spirits is so unknown in the first place, to have a spirit sexually assault a person is even rarer to come across. Police say that rape cases 8 out of 10 times are never reported, so why wouldn't it be the same if not even more hush with spirits? I've heard cases of spirits pushing people down stairs, slamming doors and cabinets, turning on and off lights, kicking dogs & cats. So they are more than capable to interact much the same as we do.
If I were your friend I'd suggest that they find out why it happened rather than just banishing the spirit to another place. It could be anywhere from the spirit was a sexual preditor to having a crush on him to knowing his spirit as a reincarnated lover from a past he doesn't remember.

I do believe it and have heard a few stories on the subject.
My sister has just moved into a new house and doesnt believe in ghosts at all, however they are experiencing a few odd things.
The other day in bed, she was lying on her stomach and she was convinced that two hands were pressing down on her back and that someone else was in the room, the hands then lifted and she actually felt fingertips across her back as though someone has placed the hands on again...very strange
There is a famous case in Texas of a lady being repeatidly sexually assualted by a ghost and it is meant to be have been taped on film...very odd

Honestly, though, the timing between him being more obsessed with church and the sex daemons appearing is a little suspect; I don't want to show any disrespect for your friend, but try to get him involved in other stuff. yehh, theres been quite a few occasions where people beleive they have been sexually assaulted by spirits. For example, the film "The Entity" is based on a true story where this woman was being attacked by a spirit in her home.

Yes..you can be sexually assaulted by evil spirits. And it can be overcome...without fear. Most clergy have never dealt with spirits...so when they do...they are in fear.
Also..most clergy do not know a thing about elementals...which are spirits created by our human passions. We create them all the time..and usually they are begign..and have very little life...but when you spend a lot of time...being a boy around town...you can probably guess his focus was a bit on the lusty side. And that puts a lot of energy out into the spiritual realm.
Elementals want to stay alive...so they come back to their maker...and intice him to put out energy again...so they can live. They will circle around continually...to constantly renew themselves.
How to deal with elementals? Ignore them. Start sending out the pure energy, with meditation and keeping the thoughts in daily life pure. Ask that holy angels help dissolve the elementals. Burn candles..and imagine the bad thought...elemental being burned up in that little fire....any bad thought for that matter...have it burned up.
Bless the four elements everyday...Fire, Air, Water and Earth. These things are holy. When you bathe...ask that the Water be holy and transforming of you. When you meditate..and deep breathe...ask that the air be holy and transforming to you. When you put your feet on the ground..or hold a rock you like...ask that it be holy and transforming to you...when you light a fire...ask that it be holy and transforming to you.
Most of what we are dealing with are elementals...and they are easily dealt with. If an evil spirit comes...then pray for it...and send it love...and make it do something constructive like observe a plant growing and to protect it...tell it that it cannot hurt anyone or animal in the process of protecting it...that this is so the plant can grow good...with the good energy of that spirit. Evil spirits can learn to love. They aren't lost forever...most of why they are lost...is because we have been in ignorance to deal with them properly. More fear.
Your friend has some work to do..but it can be done.You can help your friend...by sending him good energy..and praying for him.
