I would say because people can't think beyond what they cannot comprehend
You know that the Vedas like the Gita Mahabharata etc were meant for ALL THE HUMANS OF THIS WORLD
But it takes a proper teacher to learn the essence of these scriptures And that's why people are in confusion about certain things
I was thinking about people who don't accept the authority of Rama and Krishna, and It's really is no surprise Considering the fact that even while Krishna was on the planet many denied His supremacy-Even while seeing God they denied Him

First Hinduism is a identification given by the foreigners(None of the scriptures has ever mentioned anything about hinduism or hindu). The name is Sanatana Dharma or Vedic dharma. The basic steps or variations in it are Advaitam(Formless Worship/Bhramam/one absolute) and Devaitam(Form worship Jeevatama and Paramatama/2).
For an identification towards God the basic variations are Vaishanivaites(Vishnu worshiper), Shiviates (Shiva worshipers), Devi worshipers.
Well with all these variations of a devotee seeking God the whole thing is called Dharma in other words a way of living life. Which is also higly scientific and in core has been conciding with facts of recent findings.
Vedas, Upanishads and other shastras, sutras etc gives the core or essence of everything. But the interpretations are so subtle that very few in the entire world can even recogonise what it can mean.
All the great puranas Mahabharata, Ramayana or others they give a practical dimension of how one should lead a life. Because of misinterpretations and misunderstandings people cannot understand some of the guidelines.
Like yesterdays science is todays myth, the ancient culture is considered as myth by the ignorant mass.
Times will change and someday ignorance is sure to be replace by enlightenment, till then we have to do our parts.

Please use the lower case next time! It is considered shouting in writing!
As for your qustion the problem with Hinduism is Hindus! They have an open attitude and other religions donot! They give too much credibility to what other people say, and and often times i've heard even Hindus repeating it inadvertently in a sentence like, "In Hindu Mythology we believe so and so"!
So i'd suggest get some pride about being a Hindu and read up on your religion. Most people would be surprised the everyday practices they do are not even in line with the teachings which are great!

Every religion have subjects of Mythology. Hinduism is not the oldest religion in the World, and where is the physical proof that Rama and Krishna existed? What Jesus race, has anything to do with mythology? What more proof that Jesus existed do you want? You know what? I don't even think that you are Hindu. I have a lot of friends that are, and none of them are this stupid and ignorant. Plus they have an excellent grammar also, which you seem to lack completely.

Hinduism is the most beautiful concept in the world u have to view it without bias other wise u will negate the concept of Hinduism. people who cristie it at not at the intellectual level
that is required to know it. who cant understand this concept
doesn't know what they missed in life.
and yes Muhammad married 9 year old girl so what is the problem.
didn't Lord Krishna loved to enjoy the naked girls bathing
or a Brahman still drinks cow urine at the thread ceremony.
Hinduism a a very magnanimous concept and such questions can only be addressed who has a command on the subject of Hinduism not people like us

sorry but this is the truth hinduism and buddhism are not religions and just beliefs, buddhist people accept that themself but hindus dont.
there r 3 religions in the world islam, christianity and jewism.
that's why u can still be a christian and believe in hinduism (like many people come to india or go to chins and practise the faith of hinduism or budhism, they dont leave their religion or convert they r still christians but have u seen anyone practising islam while being a christian? in that case they have to convert formally)

I have not heard of Hinduism being referred to as "mythology" although many of the Hindu scriptures--specifically the Puranas--are mythological stories within which certain spiritual truths are meant to be related. The stories about Rama and Krishna are epic legends, much of the content of which was written over decades and perhaps centuries and have both legendary, fantastical anecdotes in them and also spiritual teachings. The stories MAY however be legends about real kingly people who lived in India during a protohistoric period (Just as Perseus of Greek myth may also have been a real person in very ancient times). This has been suggested by archeological evidence whereas there is no definitive archeological evidence that Jesus--as depicted in the New Testament-- existed although there is evidence that prototypes of him did. That is to say, the NT is a Legend about a person or persons who came to be represented in the NT as "Jesus of Nazareth").
I am also aware that miracles occur within the Hindu religion as they do in all religions.
I am also aware that Hinduism is the oldest Surviving religion practiced in the world today.
Of course, persons who say ignorant things about your religion do so because they are ignorant. Pity them.

Because Rama/Krishna/Om/Hindu/Hindi .. .. do not appear in the Vedas which The Hindu claim as their Basic Holy Book. Because, Ramayan/MahaBharat are not placed in a certain historical time frame nor in a certain geographical terrain. How can it be denied that almost all the relics of Ramayan are found in Pakistan territories, adored by the Hindus of Pakistan; so, where lies the importance of Ayodhia as the sworn place for a Ram Mandir! And 'the most ancient temple' of Hindu Faith also lies in PunjabPakistan, visited by Advani sahib who admired Pakistan Government spending millions in its renovation. As nothing is absolutely certain, therefore please do not mind if scholars and historians call it as a Mythology Religion and not as a Historical Religion. The name HINDU was given to this religion by Persian speaking immigrants and it was accepted by local population.Hindu is a Persian word. Namastey is a Zoroastrian word. .. Accept this with pride. It will make Hinduism universal.

There is no need to put down any faith. I have not heard Hinduism being referred as Mythology. Hinduism is not Ram and Krishna's history or Mystery. They are Itihas, not even Purans. Our Vedas, our philosophy is widely accepted in educated circles.

Easy there. The definition of myth is just the story about how something came to be. It does not indicate fiction. One can talk about the mythology of Christianity, and all that would mean is that they are talking about the history of it, the nativity, Jesus with the rabbis as a child, etc.
