Should I swim if I have frequent urine infection?

I am very vulnerable to get urine infection. Swim was suggested by the doctor who treated my knee problem. However, I think swim may trigger my urine infection. There are many things can trigger my infection. Sometimes, there is no reason at all.

Make sure it chlorinated not a creek or lake>
