There are people in this city living on the streets from all different age groups for all different reasons. My name is Lowell my ministry is at groups.yahoo.com/groups/ministrybloodofjesus. God has called me to minister primarily with words. What is he calling you to do?

I personally don't live in Miami and I also don't have a calling to minister to the miami homeless. God burdens me with the poor from Latin America, India, Israel and Mideast from time to time but now I am supporting the poor through Christ in NYC. Christ leads me to pray, support and give financially where He would do personally. It's all about Him. I hate tooting my own horn, fall usually comes after that.

The only "practical" thing to be done for the homeless is for someone to invent a time machine and then go back to these people when they are like six years old and say, look where you'll be in thirty years if you don't do your homework and get a life. Otherwise we'd have to go back to the Johnson administration and tell LBJ what a total farce his Great Society had turned into.

most on th estreet want to be there
i work in missions and the same faces get help and get lifted out to return because they are lazy. It is sad but most want only a handout...Ill i give now is that gospel. Get then saved and they will change they way they are living/

I'd help endangered animals before I'd help the homeless.
Let me know once there are no endangered animals, or if humans become endangered.
Once humans are endangered, I'll help them. For now, there are too many of us. I'll stick to trying to save the tigers - they're cuter anyway.
