It really depends on how much weight you have to loose.I was really overweight and it only took me a week to get rid of a stone but the less you have to loose the more difficult and slower it goes.

If you're eating a balanced diet, exercising and taking approved medication then I would say you could easily lose a stone in 4 weeks. That is 3 and a half pound a week which is thought to be unhealthy so not advisable to keep this amount of weight loss up for very long. The maximum time would probably be 7 weeks where you lose 2 pound a week. Good luck.

I am slender & avg weight and had a pot belly. It took me a 6 months of going to the gym to get rid of one stone. This included an entire change in diet. Lots of fish, meats and tons of greens. Also cut backed on the booze. The last 6 months I have been working the get rid of another 1/2 stone and that is very hard to do with a slender frame.

So it basically depends on size, dedication, and your will power.

The most you can lose and stay healthy is 2 to 3 pounds a week. Any more loss is a water and muscle loss and that is not good.

I managed to lose a stone in a week, but then I had just had 4 impacted wisdom teeth out at the time. (I couldn't eat)

There is no maximum time limit, it all depends on the amount of exercise and your diet.
