Honestly, some of them it's the way they talk and dress. I work with lot's of homosexual people, and with about 50% I can tell right away. Doesn't make me respect them any less, if that matters.

It is not in me to jugde my brethen, if somebody is gay or not is really not my bussines, now if some guy wants to be openly gay at church then I got to protest cause homosexuality and Christianity are opposite things.

Those are all stereo-types. The best way to find out if someone is gay is to ask them or wait for them to tell you.

It depends on how gay the person is. Most you would never be able to tell, but the gayer they get the more obvious it is. Liberace is a prime example of this.

Often there is no way to tell. I was friends with this guy for years and didn't realize he was gay until he told us about his new boyfriend.

Perception of that sort of thing is called "gaydar" and is a practiced skill. The more time one spent with "persons of ambiguous orientation" the more time is spent honing ones gaydar.

I dunno, my gaydar is pretty good. Although, I couldn't tell you what it is about the person, I just seem to pick it up from them. Not been wrong so far although I'm sure I've missed a few!
