With a lot of difficulity, it goes outside than comes in and does its business at the back door grrrrr. It just had its injections so in 10 days i can take it out for walks so i am hoping this will be my answer. At the moment i have put paper down at the back door but now the dog as started to tear it up and put some in her basket why??? Her basket has a soft cushion puppy. The basket is next to the radiator. Why is it ripping paper up for?

I am fenced but my fence is corrugated wire and i didnt double it up at the bottom the little dog can fit threw it so i have to stay out with her. I take her out every 45 mins to 1 hr it just sniffs around and then when my back is turned it does its business at the back door on newspaper

You can take her out for walks NOW and SHOULD be with the pup when she goes out in order to PRAISE her when she does her job outside. The little kid doesn't know NOT to soil inside until you teach her that. As soon as she wakes from a nap take her out, Praise! when she relieves itself. This is also when you should be teaching her manners: sit, come, heel....

Your pup is building its own nest tearing up the paper. could be she doesn't like your choice of "soft cushion".

this must be your first puppy

I am training 5 puppies that are 11 weeks old right now they sleep from about 9 to about 4:30 am if I do not get up right when they start whining they will not make it to the back door they go right in front of it.
I suggest you follow their lead. Look for what she does before she goes in the house when you see her doing that take her out.

Why are you trying to train a puppy without a book on how to train it properly? This is why so many people get dogs, just to give the poor things away! Never train a dog to pee on paper, it just teaches it to pee in your house! Make going potty fun and exciting for her, ask her want to go potty? Take her out and praise her like crazy when she goes potty. Set the timer for 20 minutes and take her out every time it goes off. go overboard on prazing her and even give her a cookie for being a good girl. Your puppy wants to please you, so talk to her and tell her what a good girl she is. She should be potty trained within a week!

Your puppy is ripping those paper either because your dog is teething, or your dog is just playing with it. Or it could be both. During this period of teething, a paper, a toy, a bone, and even your slippers are favorite targets to chew or nibble..Buy your dog a toy that is specifically for teething..those rubbery toy things..

But then again, dogs really love to rip and shred paper..

you have to take her out after everything she does she eats yout ake her out she plays you take her out she sleeps you take her out etc...
iv got a 14 week old pup who has very few accidents inside the house if you have a fenced in yard or a run just let her out and keep an eye on her but keep her out for as long as she wants untill shes ready to come in\\

put up a run if you dont have a fenced in yard
although its easier if your yard is fenced in my dog runs rite to the door and statrs whining when he needs to go out

if she doesnt have at least her first set of shots do not take her for a walk its dangerous

just curious what kind of dog is it
