As we reported to you last week, our government has built just five
miles of the 854 miles of double-layer border fence mandated by
the Secure Fence Act of 2006.
This outrageous fact begs a question...
Why? If the law mandated a double layer fence covering 854 miles,
then how come such little progress has been made?
+ + Border fence funding hoax of 2006 and 2007
Grassfire.org's research staff has blown the lid off a deceptive
and convoluted border fence funding sham being perpetrated on
the citizens of our nation.
Warning -- reading this report will enrage you. It will
infuriate you. Go here to access the full report:
http://www.grassfire.org/22042/offer.asp?rid=12032496
As you will see in this report, Congress and the Administration
are pretending to support a real border fence but then working
behind the scenes to ensure that the Secure Fence Act is never
really implemented.
It happened last year, and as I write, Congress is trying to repeat
its Border Fence Funding Hoax on us again! Here's how...
As you may know, last week an amendment providing $3 billion for
border security was stripped from the DOD appropriations bill.
We fully expect that bill to be added to the DHS funding bill
in the next few days. But even if they pass the $3 billion
funding amendment, DHS may not be required to use any of that
money for the border fence.
Not ONE DIME!
That's because of another amendment by Sen. Hutchison that says
DHS does not have to build the fence! Sen. Hutchison's staff told
us this amendment (also removed from DOD appropriations) will also
be re-attached to the DHS appropriations bill.
+ + Action Items: Help expose the Funding Hoax
I need your help to expose Congress Fence Funding
Hoax. We need to flood every House and Senate office with faxes
demanding action.
Specifically, we are calling for an amendment (or amendments) to
be added to the DHS appropriations bill to fully fund the
double-layer fence and directly tie that funding to the actual
building of the fence mandated by the Secure Fence Act.
1. Send faxes to your Senators, your Congressman and other
key leaders exposing the Fence Funding Hoax Go here:
http://www.grassfire.org/22042/offer.asp?rid=12032496

No. But it's pathetic and xenophobic action against Mexicans and Mexico. Why we are not building the wall against Canada which is longer than the southern border?
for years U.S. has being in war with other Countries and the border was so easy to crossed like enter to any Restaurant.
The terrorist were not Mexicans either they do not crossed the border from Mexico.
Why until know and why against Mexico?

A steady flow of illegal workers, drugs, and money coupled with corrupted governments (US and Mexico) that benefit from it make a wall virtually impossible to build.
The NAU agenda ensures no wall will ever be completed.

It's a good idea, and plus with todays building technology there wouldn't be alot of deaths like there was when they built the great wall of china. I really don't know why they havn't built one yet, people are stupid I guess.

Not at all - but it will be next to impossible to build since Congress stripped the funding for it. If we can get to the moon we can build a wall and deport illegals.

yeah, and the Russians built the Berlin Wall pretty fast.
Authoritarian regimes always like encircling their people with walls, Im surprised the US has waited this long.

It is difficult only for congress that instead of having the country's security at heart look after corporation's benefits (of hiring cheaper labor that usually mean illegals)....

Yeah, but they used people up like crazy...didn't you hear about all the graves they are finding along the Chinese wall?? We don't do that! That area should be saved for those trying to get over the wall!!

Yes, the simple solution would be to hire the illegals to build it and make sure they are on the south side of it when completed.
