Dog has tag wart growing on outer membrane of eye. Vet said not to worry, but it seems to be getting larger-(looks like a tick),doesn't seem to bother dog yet it would drive me nuts to have something like that growing on my eye. Don't think it interferes with his vision but probably will if it keeps growing.

A tag wart is just that a harmless bit of skin that looks strange. Even though it's driving you nutz lol leave it be, for a couple of reasons, firstly it's near the dogs eye, secondly it's harmless.
Take your vets advice and try not to let the "look" of what you think it's doing annoy you any longer.
If it is not bothering the dog in any way shape or form or interfering with the dogs vision.........leave it be
If it ain't broke..........don't fix it :-)

Well, I have a remedy but the location wouldn't work.

On my granddaughter we used an old wives remedy, of a slice of garlic under a band-aid . Change as needed and in under a week it came off.

I wouldnt use anything around or near his eye... you could cause more harm than good. If it becomes bothersome to your pet take him to a vet to have it surgiacally removed.
