Some people call everyone "sweetie" or "hon," so it might be something she does all the time.
Sometimes people say sweetheart to demonstrate compassion - for example, if someone had just been through some sort of a catastrophe, I might say "oh sweetheart" when they are done telling their story, to show sympathy.
However, one definition of sweetheart is "one that is loved," so... it really depends on the situation.

It could mean a lot of things. A lot of girls just call people that instead of saying their name. Or, she could say it because she doesn't like you...like, you are a sweetheart, but I don't think you are right for me. Or, she could say it because she does like you and is complimenting you.
So, without more info we just don't know.

usually nothing, we will call anyone who is considered a nice person, "honey" "babe" "sweety" "sweetheart"
its just being nice to us girls, doesnt really mean anything other than we think your a nice person

It means you know how to treat a women with respect and trust me I would know since women have called me that too. Us men need to treat all the nice women out there with respect.
