Hi, i want to make a picture of a white chihuaua with leopard-pattern fur. so i put the spot on the leopard skin and then draw on the chihuaua, but it looks really heavy, and you can't see the lines of the dog's fur. how can i change the opacity of the clone stamp tool so that the pattern is less strong? thanks

on the toolbar along the top, where you change brushes and stuff there is a percent(100%) click the arrow next to it and turn down the opacity

I can think of a couple of methods. First, there is an Opacity and a Flow setting in the Clone Stamp toolbar.

Second, you can create the "clone" and then create a layer. place the clone on the layer and then you the layer Opacity or Fill control to edit the clone. You may need to do a little switching back and forth between layers, but "layers" is what Photoshop is about.

Create the image in its own window, set the opacity of the layers, then save it as a clone stamp. Wish I was able to show you but you know...

when u press the clone tool a toolbar will show up at under the menu toolbar and there there is the opacity value in which u can change. if it does not show then go to window menu and select the options menu.
