Finish school. I promise that the military will still be here when you graduate. Your degree will benefit you and your service.

Stay in school and finish. If you join the Air Force you still have to go back and finish school. Get school out of the way first , and then join if you are still up for it. The rest of your life will depend on your education, not on the 4 yrs u served in the military, that will only be one more good experience.

I believe the age cutoff for enlisted in 27, meaning you still have time to go to college and enlist later. You can also get your 4 year degree, and then try coming in as an Officer.

Career wise if you're thinking of joining, it'd probably be best to be young and dumb in college, and then enlist (if that's the route you wanna go) when you're 22 or 23. A lot of the young kids who went straight in the military after high school go a little nuts over not having a curfew or parents to go home to when they get to their first base.

Go talk to a recruiter because they have a program where you can finish college, the military pays for it, and then you owe them X amount of years duty. It's a great program.....my 7th grader is talking about doing this because of the benefits plus you also go in as an officer instead of enlisted (BIG pay difference)

Finish college, then, if your college has a ROTC program, join that and when you graduate from college, you can either be an officer or depending on your degree, you can enter the US Air Force as an officer!!

I joined after my freshman year of college. Instead of active duty, have you thought about the National Guard?

You can go to boot/tech school during the summer, and have a weekend job. Also, they pay for college and you get the GI bill.

Just stick with college. Make sure you get through it. Getting an education is the most important thing you can do.

Listen to everybody here, they are all correct. I did not have the chance of going to college and had to enlist (before they drafted my butt).
It is no fun being an enlisted, finish school, go in as an officer and build a career.

Finish school, get a bachelors degree, maybe join ROTC. With a bachelors degree you can enter in as an officer as long as it is a Degree they accept. Enjoy your college years.

Finish school first. Then if you still feel drawn, go officer. The pay and living conditions are better than enlisted.
