does any-one know when grand central are due to start services thanks

It's been every month for the last six months (or so it seems). Their website says 'soon' and blames the delay on delay in getting their refurbished trains ready (HSTs). This page gives their view of the situation as at 19 November http://www.grandcentralrail.co.uk/news.html

they've been held up because the diddn't pay their contractors - the current hold up is getting their stock approved (the coaches are 110mph standard coaches rewired to work with the HST Three Phase electrical system - they also will be used at 125mph so have had work to pass them for the higher speeds)
