no, not in america, but you can get it from canadian online pharmacies, they release generics earlier. I have some relatives who use them and they have GOOD luck and save lots of $$$. Do a yahoo search and shop around.

BTW, I'm on it and the stuff is a GOD SEND. Luckily my insurance covers mine fairly well. Also, if you are having trouble affording it, contact your doctor and see if they have any samples they could let you have.

no, there is no generic for Lexapro. Celexa has different dosaging than Lexapro.

I would be almost 100% positive that it does have a generic...a generic drug is simply a pill with the same exact medication (ingredients) but it is distributed without patent protection...most every major drug has a generic for people who cannot afford the brand name
