No... Not windows all the way.
Mac is much more sufficient, especially Leopard.
If your going to use windows use XP SP2. Vista is a horrible creation that runs horribly! I once used windows vista and there... and... HERE:
Pros of Vista: Nice sleek design.
CONS: Uses to much resources. causing a MAJOR system slowdown/ If you used windows XP before you will not know how to control it/ SO MUCH CRAP IS INSTALLED WHEN YOU FIRST BOOT UP: ebay, vongo, AOL, Raphsody, and other things you don't want. GAH i cant say it all lol.
Windows is pretty nice, but they made a big mistake on vista. If you prefer Windows than mac, stick with XP SP2, although my preference is mac.

So far, Windows Vista has been less than impressive to me. I've been running it now on a couple computers to give it a chance, but my older Windows XP system really seems to out perform it.
Can't speak to the Mac operating systems as I haven't used one recently. If you are looking for a Microsoft OS, consider XP. I haven't found a good requirement to use it and only have it now because it came with the new computers I bought.

All in all I even ought to assert that once utilising Vista for over a month and installation each of the updates i love it. It would not crash as a lot any extra, I paired all my exterior contraptions to the gadget with downloaded drivers and in the journey that your settings are top and also you've were given sufficient RAM the gadget's reaction if fantastically solid. Microsoft tried to make issues immediately ahead or perhaps if they messed a number of it up (consistent permission requests) i imagine it truly is an outstanding artwork in progression. Plus, i have heard on the proper of this three hundred and sixty 5 days MS is discontinuing XP and all help for XP to rigidity actually everyone to apply Vista. may to boot roll with the punches.

Leopard is a much more comfortable and enjoyable user experience. Vista is essentially XP SP2 with a new skin.
