he used the force to destroy the death star, became a true jedi master like his father before him, then defeated his father and redeemed him and killed the emporer who ruled over the evil empire that ruled the galaxy with an iron fist?
It all happened long ago in a galaxy far far away, how can't you deny that jesus is a jedi master?

Ah, but young Skywalker did not die for my sins, he only went on to become the voice of the Joker.
Plus, dude had urges for his sister. That's just wrong, man.
UPDATE:
But what about becoming the Cock-knocker? Is that moving up or down spiritually?

Jedi weren't able to detect that huge electromagnetism-emitting mass of orbiting steel.....not even by using the Force, radars or infiltrators...
No respectable and reputable despot has a last-minute epiphany like Vader did...
Luke Strikewanker was a redneck: He kissed his sister, drove a red&silver piece of junk with two ornamental toys on board and always carried a firearm...Did I mention that this Luke actually NEVER won a lightsaber duel???
Those Jedi are as fake as Southern televangelists...

You almost had me, man, but then I started to think ...savior? From what - financial stress, skin cancer, a flat tire, the Red Menace - just what are we talking about here?
Besides, I think this Jesus character had a monopoly agreement for Earth and its residents only. The Empire had other deals going with the Aldeberans and the Jedis, and they had granted a galactic exclusive rights arrangement to Yoda and his Green Proto-Buddhists. The Christians get to "save" people only within the Sol system, and may be liable to penalties for early withdrawal.
So no, man your premise is interesting but off base and I am still wondering who it is you see over my shoulder holding a spiked club.

The death star never existed. All this is in a movie. For a Christain I find u strange but interesting as well.
I also don't believe a man named Jesus existed. I saw some proof that Matthew wrote the whole story just to annoyed a Roman Emperor who had a rumour going around that he, himself had mystical birth event.
But just to be nice I'm not going to trash on your beliefs.

I don't know if you know this but this was actually the plot for a series of movies created in the late 1970s/early 1980s by George Lucas. The only difference is that Jesus was called Luke. In the recent prequels it was revealed that Luke's father was concieved immaculately.
