obviously i am an atheist but i really would like to hear what people say here since a lot of christians do claim to know the answers, like a lot of atheists i do not claim to know all the answers but since it is proved that dinosaurs roamed the earth 200 million years ago it seems strange for anyone to attempt to contradict proven fact

Dewcoons. thank you very much for the effort you put into answering my question, although your answer may not necessarily convert me it certainly gives me food for thought and if more people answered like you instead of just thinking they were being ridiculed it would present the christian case in a far more positive way. cheers

If the Bible is the resource for answering these question...
1) No date is given for when creation took place. People have speculated a date of about 6000 years using some of the Bible genealogies. But that is not stated anywhere within the Bible itself.
2) According to Genesis 1, the sun and earth were created as part of a single act, so neither is going to be "older" then the other. Science teaches that the planets were formed by matter coming from the suns during their "birth", so science sees no difference in the age of either also. Genesis teaches that the earth was fully formed before in established it orbit around the sun on the "third day". Again, science teaches the same.
3) Genesis 1:1,2 speak of the creation of the heavens and the earth. It then seems to indicate that something happened that altered the state of earth to "chaos and void". The days of creation then follow this event as the world is prepared again for planet, animal and human life. What happened before that time, the order of creation, the length of time, the existence of other population on earth, etc. is not specified. So any guess from what the Bible ways would be just that -- a guess.
4) The Bible has over 60 references to dinosaurs. As the word "dinosaurs" was not coined until the late 1800's, and the Bible was written 2000 years and more before that, it uses the older word "dragons". Most references to "dragons" associate them with appearing in desolation, and uninhabited places. No interaction between a human and a living dinosaur (dragon) is mentioned in scripture. It appears that, like us today, they knew about them through bones and fossils that they dug up. They appear to have ad a clear enough understanding of dinosaurs that in the book of Job (chapters 40 and 41) they describe a "bird-hipped" dinosaur very accurately, called a Behemoth. They also refer to a sea dinosaur called a leviathan. If they never meet a living example of these animals, then they were exactly paleontologists to be able to that accurately reconstruct them from fossils and bones. They may have been part of the "pre-Adam" world that was destroyed before the days of Genesis.
5) According to Genesis, life began with fish and other sea creatures. Next came the birds. (If the current scientific idea that dinosaurs evolved into birds is correct, then the Bible is right when it says "birds" came next. They were just already in that form by the time Genesis was written). After that the land animals. And finally man.

1) How many years ago was the planet Earth created?
At least 4-5 billion years ago
2) What is older, the planet Earth or the Sun? The Sun.
3)Was the planet Earth the first celestial body to be created or are other planets or stars older?
Other planets and stars are older.
4)How long ago did dinosaurs roam the planet earth?
During the Jurassic, Triassic, and Cretaceous periods--It's been years since I went to school; I can't remember the precise order of those geological epochs or when they occurred.
5)What was the first animal on planet Earth (humans are counted as animals for this question)
Cyanobacteria were the first living micro-organisms on Earth. I don't know which were the first vertebrate animals.

1.) About 4.5 x 10^9 years (more or less)
2.) Sun but not by very much
3.) The universe as a whole is roughly 13 x 10^9 years
4.) Non-avian dinosaurs became extinct about 65 million years ago
5.) The first animal is not known. There are algae fossils that date from about 3 x 10^9 years ago. You question my need to be re-phrased somewhat to define exactly what you mean by "animal."

Same answer for #1 through #5: No one really knows for certain. This includes scientists as well as theologians.
And it's not critically important that we do.
Edit: By that, I mean the truth of the Gospel does not depend upon the answers to these questions. Your guess is as good as mine.

The Bible is not a science book. Its purpose is to convey those truths about God and salvation that God wishes to convey.
The things you mentioned have nothing to do with God's plan of salvation, so they are not clarified in the Bible
