I'm guessing when you say "saved" you are talking about salvation is so.
I am saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, because he died on the cross for me and I have accepted his gift. I've asked him into my heart and to be the lord of my life. Simple as that.

1. God would like for all to be saved, and so He has carried out a plan for our salvation.
2. By God's grace, I was born into a family who baptized me and taught me the Christian faith, which is how Jesus instructed us to make disciples.
3. God continues His work in me through the Sacraments, which bring forgiveness of sins, nourish my spirit, strengthen my faith, and prepare me for the day when I will meet Him face to face.

The idea of burning in the lake of fire does not appeal to me. All you have to do is confess your sins unto God and repent for a new life with God. Turn your back on your old ways and let the spirit cleanse you. Trust in Jesus Christ who died on the cross for your sins and let him in.

Because God first saw my pity, sorry state and told me about the Gospel through pastors and other sweet people who love Him forreal. I decided to believe Him and give it a shot. Haven't regretted it yet!!
