Im assuming your talking about a toddler since thats the area this question was in. Toys toys toys! Dora toys! Kids love those now. Anything strange that seams fun. Even tiny things. I remember when i was younger i liked those balls that lite up when you smashed them on the floor. You have to put your mind into a little kids. They dont worry about taxes or writting on note books. They want entertaining things. Whether a girl or boy. I have a niece and she loves the littlest of things that either feel weird, look weird, or make sounds. Just get them a gift bag an shove it with all kinds of little things :) Usually their is an entire isle dedicated to these sort of things in wal*mart. Hope i helped!

Well I have three girls and they are into barbie dolls and crafts. The crafts are a good way to gain their creativeness..Drawing, pasting and painting. Other things are Playing games and being silly and there are a lot of silly games out there. The last thing I would suggest is depending of course on the age a diary to write their most intimate thoughts that they don't want others to read.

I am assuming it is toddlers? A tube of Little People is pretty cheap but still a toy that ALL toddlers love. Books are also a great idea, buy a tube of people and a princess book and the kids will be as happy as if they got a hundred dollar present.

Little pretend make up and stuff is always a winner with the 4 to 8 girls.
It always gets harder as they get older, to find them gifts.
For ones over 8 or 9, I'd say maybe something related to Hannah Montana. She's the new obsession of little girls everywhere. I know my two little sisters would go crazy for anything Hannah Montana.
Best of luck,
x

Well for a young child barbie dolls are great. It keeps them entertained for hours.
Or maybe a baby doll that they could mess around with their hair etc.
Also dress up outfits are rather cheap and entertaining for the kids, they pretend to be fairies and princesses.

Webkins are great. They are inexpensive (around $10) and younger kids as well as older kids love them. I'd say ages 4 to 12. They are cute stuffed animals that come with a code on a tag that the kids can use to go online and build a home and play games with their pet. Its very safe.
