When I click my high beams on, my headlights go dead...unless I click back to low beam asap. What could this be, a fuse? Any others know what this could be? headlight switch inside of the steering column? I can't drive here in the mountains this way, too unsafe....thanks for any info....

the healight switch is bad. You can try working it back and forth very rapidly dozens of times to try to clean it before you replace it. It's worth trying first.
