We don't have all that much money so we try and spend between 100-150 per child. This year we may send alittle more on our 8 year old, and alittle less on the two younger ones. To even things out in the end.

I dont put a price tag on my childrens presents. I buy them 2-3 gifts a piece and call it good. The family always buys them more, and i think theres a point of too much when thats all they get is toys and gifts.. They lose interest pretty quickly. I have four children, and I buy them what they want most, such as a tool bench , or the smart cycle thats out. So I may spend 100 dollars on one child and 50 on the other. It just depends how much the item costs that they want.

I always decide before hand what items I want my children to have. I don't really focus on how much I will spend. I wouldn't go broke spending for Christmas though. Your kids won't realize how much you do spend until they are older and if you teach them well about the meaning of Christmas they won't even care then. My parents alway allowed me to receive one large gift that I really wanted and then they would always throw in little suprises such as clothes or cds. Good Luck

depends on the family and what they can afford. I have a Christmas club account at my bank where I stick some of each pay check into it. That way when Christmas time comes I have the $$ I need. I tend to spend around $600 on each of my kids. but then again that's what I can afford. there's many who spend less and many who spend more.

I only spend what I can afford, no charging at Christmas, as you will pay for it for the rest of the year. The kids have always been OK with it.They know that isn't the meaning of the holiday.
