if i get a rental car with insurance and i just happen to have a head on collisions with another rental car. with insurance. will i be covered?

By what policy? If you buy the collision waiver from the rental company, the collision damage to the rental car will be covered by their policy.

If you have a policy, it may or may not carry over onto the rental car.

So, it's going to depend on 1. what exactly you are looking for "coverage" for 2. your insurance policy 3. the rental contract, and which options you choose to buy and 4. the details surrounding the accident.

yes with the rental company
if you use your personal insurance they will take the deducatble and you can also pay a per diem for the time the car is out of service.
just check the rates and see what is most advantegous to you
