No difference .... a biology class should be enough to set a person straight in that area of knowledge.
The universe is energy.
There's electricity, mechanical force, information exchange.... the body works with all these. Nothing weird about it.
We are the universe. The universe is consciousness.
A lot of people should realise this so they can rest a little.....

No. A spirit can not lift an object or see or hear or taste or smell or touch. I THINK possibly a spirit can feel and possibly see one another.
We need a body to communicate with the physical world.
We need a spirit to communicate with the spiritual world, and if connected and alive, to communicate with God.
Our soul is in the driver's seat, so to speak, choosing between what the spirit says and what the body demands.
That is why the Bible says that we are to NOT walk after the flesh, but after the spirit.

The body is simply the vessel that carries the spirit. Think of it this way: If a turtle should crawl out of his shell, he would walk away and leave his shell behind him. He still lives, but now lives outside the shell. This is true with the spirit. We live inside our bodies and when we leave the body, we continue to live outside the body. The difference is, the body breaks down and wears out, like a machine...after many years a machine needs parts replaced and after a time, the whole machine needs replaced. The spirit however never breaks down, never gets sick, and never needs renewed. It is eternal.

Since I am not a spirit I cannot answer this question. Unless you are a spirit or have been a spirit there is no proof of anything. This is something that either you choose to believe in through faith or to not believe it. Personally, I don't know whether to believe or not.

Think of three concentric circles for a simple idea. The innermost is my spirit. I am a spirit, who has a soul and lives in a body.
My spiritual dimension was dead in me until I met Jesus Christ. His Holy Spirit gave life to the dead place in me. He continues to communicate with me/love me from right inside my human spirit.
It sounds like you are talking about ghosts. The Bible is not talking about ghost type spirits.

You cannot know the answers to your questions until you are released from your body by physical death.

Think of your skeleton holding your body upright. Your soul is your support and your being. G-d is to your soul, as your soul is to you.
