I'm still single and sick of it. Therefore, I thought about going to a public park and get a girlfriend.

There was this around 30-32 yrs old woman (Im25), whom I saw walking alone. She then sad down on the lawn.

After sometime, figuring out that she didn't have any company; I thought about going to her and sat beside and start a conversation. I asked "Would you mind if I sit here?"

Then she smiled at me and said "No Im actually waiting for a friend of mine". Then I said "OK, I'm sorry", then I walked to my car.

I was so ashamed. I didn't even look at anyone else in the park. I hears some guys even laughing at me. Now I feel that's it. I'd never go for a girl. Seriously, no girl likes me. I got plenty of girl FRIENDS you know; just FRIENDS, but when I try to take it to the next level; what ultimately happens is they stop talking with me. I get so frustrated.
I got a kinda dark skin, and I'd love to have a white girl friend. Is is my skin colour? I'm so depressed! pls hlp

I don't think your skin color will prevent you from finding someone, but why would you limit your choices by the color of their skin.

You probably have a circle of friends already, which include some interesting people.

Why don't you write the names of some of them down, and weigh the pros and cons of asking them out.

One of the cons will always be rejection. But that doesn't mean you have offended them. It's a nice compliment to be asked out, even if it's not by the person they hoped.

Then when you begin, lower your expectations to coffee and a smile. If you are thinking about an involved relationship, you will project those feelings, and it may scare them away.

You do not have to be Prince Charming, but you do have to be nice, and willing to grow. Eventually, if you want an intimate relationship you will need to ask yourself if you are ready for marriage and fatherhood.

You're only 25! It's not unusual to be single. Anyway if you're too self-conscious, girls can sense your insecurity / desperation, and you'll end up losing your chance to get a girlfriend. Relax, open up and just live life the way you want.

P.S. - I really don't think it's your skin colour.

Maybe that's how your grandparents did it--just approach some random stranger in a park....but I think it's weird these days.

Try joining a club, gym, church group, etc and getting to know people there. Branching out in your social circle will help a lot.

Don't worry about it, you will find a girl who is right for you, sometimes it just takes a while. I don't think you are hopeless, and I don't think it is your skin color. If someone won't date you because of the color of your skin, they are jerks and don't deserve you anyway. Don't give up! Just keep searching.

No its not your skin color...your gonna get turned down before you find one...Just because one girl says no it doesnt mean theres not someone out there that will say yes...just stay confident...girls like that..and dont be corny...just be yourself and you'll find someone sooner than you think...theres someone out there for everyone...u just have to look...
