What was it about and how did you feel?

I hate it when that happens.

Yup, scolded for explaining things too fast to my boss :p (she considered that it was my fault that she could not understand :). I felt lousy, but hey, let's have a positive outlook:

1. Open a new file in your PC .
2 . Name it " Boss "
3. Send it to the RECYCLE BIN
4. Empty the RECYCLE BIN
5. Your PC will ask you, "Are you sure you want to delete Boss permanently?"
6. Answer calmly, "Yes," and press the mouse button firmly....
7. Feel better?

Have a nice day!!!

I had a boss who treated us like 3 year olds. She would talk to us in a condescending way and lecture us on how to do it "the right way." She did this to practically everyone. She retired in late August. We have a new boss who doesn't do this. The staff feels much better about approaching her with questions and problems.

I hate when it happens, too. This can be done more professionally and tactfully.

At my old position, I faced scolding quite a bit. It was a high pressure position, and I understand my superiors were under pressure to get things done, but sometimes, things just don't come through as planned, and of course, it will be the little guy who catches it. Luckily, I've gone to work for a new company, and the owner of the company frequently calls me "Superwoman." It makes my day!

I've been scolded a few times, not many. I am not the kind of person to take someone yelling at me. If I make a mistake, that's fine, just tell me that I did wrong and I'll try to make it better. If I make a mistake and you yell at me for it, I will do it wrong 100% of the time from now on just to pi$$ you off. I try not to mess up too often though.

Oh, no! Of course, not!
My boss is a WONDERFUL person
who would NEVER scold me for ANY reason whatsoever!

And I'm not just saying this because I'm afraid
that I might be fired if I say anything bad about my GREAT boss! ;)

No not really, he does not talk down to me, if I do something wrong, he just lets me know. He is a very good boss, and I am very lucky, to work with a great guy.
