what does product key mean? it ask me to "type 25-character Product Key" when i install the Microsoft Powerpoint

If you have a legitimate copy of the software there will be a long number printed, probably on the box but somewhere obvious and that is the product key. often it is hyphenated so look for one that fits in the boxes on your screen
