i tried everything. I was working out 4-5 days a week, with very healthy food except for 1 or 2 days of whatever I liked. I did cardio 5 days, weight training 3 days and Pilates 1 or 2 days. Now what else I could have done to reach my target?? i am thinking to change my approach and start running from today. Can you please tell me how good is running 5 days a week. Am I going to lose my bust by doing so? How efficiet is running and what precautions should I take. ia m thinking to run on treadmill. I was spinning, swimmming and doing step class before. Please help!!!

You are not going to lose much weight if you only exercise. You have to go on a diet and when you reach your desired weight then exercise as much as you can to keep the results. Try the low carb diet. It is very efficient. You can lose 10 pounds in 1 week but you have to follow the diet.

It sounds like you are only concerned about the number you see on the scale. What you didn't realize is while you are burning fat with what you have been doing, you are adding muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat. Judge your weight loss by how your clothes are fitting, not a number.

But if you are going to add running, make sure you stretch properly before and after you run. I also wouldn't suggest running 5 days a week. You may be able to work up to that, but not yet. Keep up the swimming and step class and maybe just run on the days you don't do that.

The 1-2 days of whatever you like could be killing you. It doesn't matter if you stick to 2,000 calories 5 days a week if you have 4,000 the other days. Just make healthy choices all the time, without depriving yourself. A cheeseburger every once and while won't kill you, and what good is living your life skinny if you don't enjoy it?
