Two months ago, I left my job because of the lack of growth potential and problems with management. I gave two week notice and started my new job. I have been at my new job for a month and it is not what I expected, I dont want to be in this job no more, its worst than my last job. I want to start looking, but do I have to list my current job on my resume even though ive only been here for a month? Can they find out that im working here? If i dont included in my resume, what can I say to prospective employers on why did I left my last job which I was there for 2 years..Is lack of growth a good enough reason on why I left??...Any help will be appreciated..Thanks.

Be honest.
It is easier to find a job while still employed.
Explain your situation and expectations and you desire for personal and employment growth.

You are not a robot so do not feel that you need to conceal your dissatisfaction with your present position.

Lack of growth would be appropriate. However, I would suggest you come up with a way to explain why you have not worked in over a month. On any application there is a Job section and from what date to what date.

I think being honest would be best. That way you won't have to cover your tracks.

One more thing, if they check your credit report or references your current job may show up and then they will think you are a lier if you did not tell them.

Lack of potential to move up is absolutely a good reason, continuous employment would look better than the month off regardless of the reason. Just make sure the next job you go to has upward mobility.

1st of all I have also done this. I would not give the most recent job because it appears you are not stable. also as far as quiting the last job, give the reason that you left and it will show that you want to advance within the job and it also shows that you are willing to grow with the company.

I have been there

1. I did not list my short job 3 weeks.

2. as for your other job. - stated that there was not opportunity
to grow and wanted to try something else.

yeah... you don't have to list the one month job... and just say "lack of growth" -- employers like the ambition...
