I've heard that chewing gum improves your memory. If you are sitting an exam, will chewing it 20 hours before the exam make any difference as opposed to chewing 2 hours before the exam? Is there a minimum amount of chewing gum you need to take to improve your memory?

well i have never heard that, but i don't think chewing gum will help you remember anything more than you already know. I have heard that chewing gum helps you concentrate better on a exam. the only thing chewing gum for 20 hours will do is give you cavities. Maybe you should do research to find out if it is true or not.

I've heard people with memory problems shouldn't chew gum while doing anything that requires concentration. I have heard they should suck on PEPPERMINT DISCS or those little red and white minty candies. Some professors give out the peppermints before tests.
