Here is the deal with joint supplements and the one I recommend to people is osteobiflex. Osteobiflex can make your joints feel brand new again or they just wont help at all, it is completly on a person to person basis on wether they will work or not. So, what I recommend to people is take it for a month and if you dont notice any difference then they wont help you. By the way, always take them with food, they can upset the stomach.
Osteobiflex doesn't work for RA, RA is an inflammatory disease or the joint, not a loss of joint space.

My opinion and I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, if the joints are inflamed, as in they feel HOT, like you could cook a raw egg on it, then Omega 3 or Evening Primrose Oil should work. As for Glucosamine, I have tried it but find not real benefit? I have OA wear and tear in the spine, as well as a prolapsed disc. However some people with OA swear by it. Green Lipped Mussel, tried it, did not find any difference, yet other people swear by it.
Much depends on how bad you are, what type of Arthritis, joint problems you have. You state overuse so I assume OA, but am thinking something different, due to the type of exercise you are involved in. Anyway, the only way this works is to TRY it, say for one month and then you can make up your own mind. Good Luck.

If you're experiencing joint pain or are an athlete who wants to keep your joints strong and prevent injury, taking the best supplements for joint health can help. The wear and tear of rubbing, pounding, bending and moving in sports and everyday life can cause joints to weaken, and supplements may help build your joints back up, offering support and strength. Knowing which supplement ingredients are the most effective can help you improve your joint health. Glucosamine sulfate is a naturally occurring amino acid that provides material for the body to make glycosaminoglycan, which is found in cartilage. Cartilage connects the bones in the body and allows smooth movements. Glycosaminoglycan can help repair and strengthen cartilage, combating the effects of cartilage loss from aging and damaged cartilage from injuries. Glucosamine can lessen osteoarthritis pain and increase joint lubrication. The supplements are derived from the shells of shellfish such as shrimp, lobster and crab. Glucosamine is often combined with chondroitin in joint supplements.
