Since AD30, He, our Sovereign Creator Father-Son Jesus Christ, is fully here in Spirit and freely flooding down upon all flesh continuous Wave after Wave of God's love, mercy and ministry of all Truth of Reality to us ! See now and believe John 16:7-16 on He the Spirit of Truth, then reflect deeply on the last verses of John chapter 17.
When Jesus Personally Returns the second time; He will not reduce Himself to being restricted to just a finite human body; He will Appear in new and greater Manifestations. What do you believe or know in Spirit and in Truth that these may be or are?
Thank you believers in Jesus Christ here for sharing !
Peace and progress into all Truth !

Luke 17:20-24
The Coming of the Kingdom [of God as Jesus here !]
20 And having been questioned by the Pharisees, as to when the reign of God comes, He [Jesus Christ] answered them, and said, 'The Reign of God does not come with observation; nor shall they say, Lo, here; or lo, there; for lo, the Reign of God is within you.' And He said unto his disciples, 'Days will come, when you shall desire to see one of the days [plural !] of the Son of Man, and ye shall not behold 'it'; and they shall say to you, Lo, here; or lo, there; but you should not go away, nor follow; for as the lightning that is lightening out of the one 'part' under heaven, to the other part under heaven does shine, so shall be also the Son of Man in his day. [Also see Matt 24:26-27]
This future Appearance of Jesus as Lightning flashing Light upon everone is not merely a six foot tall physical human body. Jesus Returns as Son of Man and Son of God as One all-perfected Spirit God-Man Personality ! (cont)

Only Spirit-Transformed Humans can see in Jesus the Universal Father God Who is Spirit ! One Combined Unified Father-Son-Spirit. The "lightning" is not a literal physical lightning as we know it here now; this is sudden Spirit Luminosity Presence that is worldwide and also universe wide !
Please disregard the old Persian, Mithraic and Jewish negatisms added into those verses by unspiritual men who edited these scriptures. Jesus Returns as the same loving and merciful Savior Person that He always is; never is He giving out "wrath" and "destruction" ! Love your enemies He says; not try to torture and destroy your enemies. God the Universal Father is also just as loving, merciful, kind and gracious as Jesus is ! They are One here in Spirit !
Jesus is as a "spiritual lens" here Who Reveals Him Who IS invisible ! This "lens" is much bigger than our universe !
Reality is in seven cosmic dimensions, not just three.
I thank all sincere Christians who have answered so far !

In reading the good reply of hbar12, I again thought of a sentence in this significant Epochal Revelation now given to us: (no copyright, freely share) "Personality and mind-spirit relationships are TRANSMISSIBLE, but pattern is not."
Yes, many visionary humans have seen God and Jesus here in Spirit, and as side-by-side and as Infinite love and Light Presence of the One infinitely Personal Father-Son Union in Spirit. How Jesus Christ will further Manisfest to us in Spirit Person seen everywhere here and beyond one specific, limiting physical location, I do not know presently. Maybe we will be drawn up into Him in Spirit as souls and still be in body on the earth. Maybe other ways beyond our present comprehensions. This is fully up to our Sovereign GODMAN JESUS. We live and abide in his Spirit Presence and in God's peace here and now. Amen !

A big difference in the light of His coming as a person. Jesus will be more real and will touch the lives of many seeing Him again in person. There is a great expectation if people see things in real. It could be the best way i think people will believe in as to their personal experience.
God Bless You Always! Jesus is the Saviour of Mankind.
Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

When Jesus left His apostles and ascended to His Father He promised them He would not leave them comfortless and sent the Holy Ghost as a comforter and testifier of the truth of all things. The Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is a separate personage of spirit who was present at the baptism of Jesus. (The Father spoke from Heaven and the Holy Spirit descended like a dove.)
If you read John 14:15-20 you will see that Jesus is saying that the Holy Ghost, the Father and He are not all one being but one in purpose. Otherwise by what He says here the apostles would also be a part of the Godhead.
When Jesus comes the second time He will come as a "Glorified" being, with a body that is perfect in that it is eternal. He will have the marks of the crucifixion as this is His choice to keep them as a remembrance of what He has done for us. He will personally rule and reign on earth and every knee will bend and every voice proclaim that Jesus is the Christ the Lord and Redeemer of the world.

I'm not sure I can envision all the changes that we may experience when Jesus returns. I am not smart enough to take physics classes, but I do believe that there are more dimensions than the 3 we experience now. After Jesus returns and God brings about the New Heavens and New Earth we may experience things that go beyond what we can imagine just yet.
I just know that I long to see Jesus when I die or at the second coming as they call it. It will be amazing and joyful. I will never want to "do my own thing" and sin ever again. I will be free from the subversive whisper/appeal of sin. It will be such a creative life, free from the drag and pall of sin which weighs me down now at times.
I don't feel I can say what the true differences will be between walking in the Spirit now and walking with the resurrected Christ at the second coming. It is too far beyond my intellectual grasp right now! Maybe then I will get to understand physics and all the other scientific principles that could demonstrate who God is in ways I can't grasp yet.
This whole world speaks of God, but so much of it I can't understand. I think math reveals things about how God functions and creates, but I can't understand it yet...sigh!
Oh well, I know Jesus and His Spirit lives in my human spirit. That is more than enough for me right now!! He means the whole world to me.

For those who believe this there is an answer. He is the Lamb of God and sent the comfort (Holy Spirit). Upon his return he shall be the Lion of God. This is the story as I have understood it. Again; I think the true Son of God would be a girl....but I love the teaching of Jesus. There is no better philosophy of brotherly love and human kindness in any other religion. The closest would be Buddhism.

As you may have guessed, this is at least a large part of the same question that keeps me awake at night. Our God has dramatic and magnificent changes in store for us! They are right on the horizon. In meditation there is an enormous amount of spiritual energy being released from our Triune God! More then anything else I want to be the Simeon of this time (Luke 2:25-29) and I thought I was a good candidate, but frankly I have been failing all of the test questions provided me by Mary, the Mother of God and the Doctors of the Church. I must continue to open my mind through a more perfect appreciation of the love and light of God. As Jesus said, “"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven." (Matthew 16:19). I think all of us must be totally open to the unexpected as we move into this new and marvelous time.

Jesus gave up his fleshly body and offered it as the ultimate sacrifice. He did this when he ascended into heaven which is the most Holy and presented it to God. By doing this He can never attain a fleshly body again. If he were to come back in the flesh then the ransom would be nullified or useless.

I can only answer that question with what the scriptures say. If he comes as a man then we might say, he is here or he is there. As a spirit being he can be everywhere. He left in a spirit body and can return in one also. Ezekiel saw chariots and angels on a hill. Was it a vision as all prophets saw visions? I would suppose he comes through the cloud in our mind, the cloud that blocks our view of the spirit realm as 'through a glass darkly'. And his weapons, are they carnal to the tearing down of strong holds? I suspect we will see him quite clearly in our minds as Paul said, we have the mind of Jesus. That seems to be where our views always take place. The mind of God must be what makes us 'real'. Our world is only real as it is in his mind, isn't it? Isn't it all supposed to be in God's mind? Then we can see it in his mind and him in our minds and he can see himself in our minds.

Being born once more is an occasion. Being clothed in righteousness is a situation. Being stored is a system. All men and women who're born once more, except they face up to God's grace, will likely be stored. We (born-once more men and women) are clothed within the righteousness of Christ, in an effort to permit us to go into God's presence upon dying. We are being stored as God works His therapy and forgiveness in our lives by way of His Word and Sacrament; entire salvation is our superb desire, and the promise He has given us. Many Protestants pick to make use of the phrase "sanctification" to explain the salvation system, so they may be able to use "stored" and "born once more" synonymously to stress our rejection of the doctrine of Purgatory.

No, Christ is resurrected in a New Body, a prototype of the Body we will have when he resurrects us.
Christ is simply not a spirit, to deny His bodily Resurrection is to deny the Him, His Word, and even our hope in a New Life.
