No, thats wrong. Islam says "there is no compulsion in religion" The Qur'an also says "If a person kills a human, it is as if he has killed enire hunmanity and if a person saves a sould it is as if he has saved ebtire hunmanity"
It also says "TO you be your way, and to me, mine"
What you know is a wrong picture of islam.We belivee in peace and tolerance. Even if you see the life of Prophet Muhmaad, you will relaise how peaceful he was to the unbelievers. He only fought with those who waged war against him. Remeber, that God commaned him to stop fighting once the unbelievers stopped. So, is there something wrong with self defense???

most of their laws are based around their religion, so they are encouraged to do it, a long time ago our laws where like that and it happened to non believers then

Well you as your name suggest "third generation" are truly a third generation.
Muslims are noble and peaceful people from the "First Class " not the Third Class.
