My family used sweet oil, warm it and put a couple of drops in the ear. My husband's family used peroxide, again placing a couple of drops in the ear. Make sure to keep your head tilted to allow the med to work.
I would also see a different dr.

Some people end up with a ringing left ear, or maybe a buzzing right ear, or perhaps buzzing inside both ears. Often the
symptoms can be different. A ringing most likely is not life threatening, nevertheless the affliction probably will make
your daily life rather frustrating. The actual buzz, hum, not to mention ring you endure will affect your concentration,
your ability to do homework, to do your job, and may also even lead you to alter your speech habits. The inability to
concentrate due to the bothersome sound has lots of people on the lookout for natural tinnitus treatment. Listed below are
not one but two tips which really can be useful.
Caffeine's effect on the problem
Occasionally, drinking an excessive amount of caffeine can be a cause of the ringing in your ears. This is a result of the
level of caffeine reducing the amount of magnesium within your body. It is the magnesium mineral deficiency which is
problematical, not really the actual caffeine by itself. However, lowering your caffeine is usually a treatment method that
helps reduce the ringing.

Oh dear.
Go to another doctor. It's pretty clear that this one didn't see the problem. Meanwhile, try Tylenol.
Also, try to make a dental appointment: Sometimes dental problems manifest as ear aches as well as mouth pain.
Good luck and feel better.

There is no medicine for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the ONLY best treatment FOR EAR ACHE.
Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.

Go to your local GNC or other healthfood store and buy ear candles. I know it sounds crazy but they really do help. They run about $8 a pack. Just follow the directions on/in the package. Feel better soon!

My mom use to use something called Sweet Oil (check your local pharmacy) in my ear when it hurt. You heat it and then put a couple of drops in your ear and place cotton in it to keep the oil in and the air out. Try taking ibuprofen for the pain. Hope this helps.

You can warm some cooking oil and put a couple of drops in the ears. Put some cotton in the ears to keep the oil from running out and use a heating pad if you have one or put some hot water in a jar and cover it with a towel and lay your ear on the jar.
