Have you ever seen the show Reaper? The devil in that show does bad things because hey hes evil. He does not care about your actions be it good or bad. God does forgive everyone. There is no greater sin then another. Unbaptised babies are NOT subject to purgetory, nobody says that except maybe catholics...We see how well they turn out. Molesting little alter boys is the way to go for them. This isnt based off of a point system, my God go read a bible. You will learn something. The Bible is the truth. Not just a book with some stories in it like these diluted atheists want to make you believe. They are trying to believe they work with the devil when in fact, the devil still hates them.

1. The devil does not punish anybody. He doesn't help them though.

2. God does forgive everybody. Where did you hear that he didn't? God hates sin, not the sinner.

3. Purgitory is a catholic belief. Its not actually mentioned ANYWHERE in the bible. I would love anybody to tell me where it is. According to the bible children are innocent.

"Mat 18:3 and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven. "

"Mat 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for to such belongeth the kingdom of heaven. "

4. Its not just about being good or bad. According to the bible, just believing in God is not enough. You do need to do a little work. Just being a good person and saying "sure I think God is a cool dude." is not enough. How would you feel if you had a job, and your co worker just went through the motions, went to meetings, showed up, but never did any work, yet got promoted. Wouldn't you be kind of mad if you were the one doing all the work and not getting the credit?

I'd like to suggest changing metaphors. God is not a Big Guy, Satan is also not a Big Guy. They are not personal in the same sense that we are, no Giant Person is out there looking to smite people. There is no physical location called purgatory (or heaven or hell, for that matter). And you are not literally being judged by some accounting ledger with your good and bad points tallied up for a final score. These are all metaphors but all metaphors break down when pressed at the margins.

Think of this instead - we live in a spiritual reality, we can reconnect with the Divine Ground of Being that permeates, includes, surrounds, and transcends all of us. We do this by loving others - that is, by subjugating our own desires, selfishness, and ego to meet the needs of others. When we do this we are connected to taht divine energy. When we do not, we are separated and cut off from our real life force. I do not know what happens when you die to our relationship to this energy, but I rather suspect all people reconnect eventually if not immediately.

Humans cannot communicate in this way. We need robust mythological metaphors to develop this individual spiritual experience into a communal faith that helps each person connect to the divine. Those metaphors create imperfections, but this is a flaw of human language, not of God.

For example, if I say, "It is raining" what have I said? I mean, WHAT is raining? It. But there is no it. I can't say it without creating a metaphor - "there is rain falling." Any statement I make essentially turns the sky or clouds into an actor called It or There or whatever and it is doing rain to us as if it had intention and were commiting an action. And if we really cared about it we'd say, "Why does the cloud rain on me when I want it to be sunny? Truly the cloud must hate people that like sun!"

The devil likes making things as bad as possible for people.
He is not punishing them, he enjoys their misery.
God only forgive those who believe Jesus was the Christ
and ask forgiveness of their sins.

There is no such thing as purgatory. It is a lie perpetrated by the Catholic church. There is a age of reckoning for all children, and only God can determine that age. If a baby dies, it will go to heaven.

No where in the Bible does it say there is a purgatory. Abraham's bosom was taken to heaven when Jesus ascended. Unbaptised babies go straight to heaven to God who gave them.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. We are all good and bad - none are perfect. The difference is if we know Jesus or not. Christians are not perfect, just saved by grace. Salvation is a free gift of God for believing in Jesus.

These whole concepts are made up by the early Catholic Church-to control the uneducated people. It was all made up. Just recently the church backed down on the issue of unbaptized babies going to LIMBO. They agreed that it was made up, and no longer useful.

Again, you cannot understand this if you do not open your mind. We all have free will. All our choices have consequences. God is bound by who he is and what he has created. He cannot be inconsistent. Rebellion against God is sin. It does not matter whether its a "big" sin or a "small" sin. Sin brings death, ie. the separation from God, because God cannot tolerate sin. There is no good person. No one has ever been perfect except Jesus. All are separated from God unless they accept his gift of grace.

Unbaptized babies never went to purgatory..It was said to be limbo..which was quite nice if you read Dante. Satan is the adversary..like the prosecutor in a court.

how it works is that as long as you believe and worship God you get into heaven. Basically god is very egotistical and doesn't actually care what you do in your life, he just likes to see people kneeling in churches worshiping him.

So you can be the kindest most charitable atheist in the world and go to Heaven or the most evil paedophilic religious person and go to heaven.

Thats what the bible sais anyway.

Its a good job heaven and hell don't exist really isn't it.
