Meat doesn't need to be washed prior to cooking. I only ever rinse a whole chicken under cold water before stuffing. Bacteria will be killled during the cooking process.

Why on earth would you wash meat? Unless you dropped into dirt, it will only serve to wash away flavor. Especially with boiling water (which will toughen the exterior of the meat). Cook it as your recipe calls for without washing.

You cannot wash a meat with boiling water because the temperature is enough to cook the outer part of the meat. It will spoil easilly if you will store it again in the fridge. better that you cook it outrightly.

No it is not a good idea, the heat does 2 things first it starts cooking the outside of the meat and secondly it gives any bacteria a good boost.
Only rise the meat with cold water, normall cooking will render most bacteria's harmless

I'm sure it is possible.....I just would not want to try it. You can clean meat with cold water and if there are any bacteria present it will be killed when you cook the meat to the recommended temperature.

What on earth for? Meat doesn't need washing at all given that the heat of the cooking will kill any bacteria on the surface. Please email me and tell me why you want to do this - I have got to know.

Wam tepid water is better, so when it comes to cooking/roating the meat you could be fooled into thinking it is cooked through, while you may need 20/30 mins more, BON APPETIT.

Yes! First just rinse the trash etc off. Then bring to a boil, when the foam rises to the top skim it off. You can do that a couple times. It draws out all the bad stuff. What ever you do afterwards make sure it reaches a required temp of doneness to be safe.
